The base of Seneca One Tower is looking a bit dark these days. Douglas Development has broken out the paintbrushes and the horizontal portions of the towers’ lower two floors along with the annexes are getting a coat of charcoal-colored paint. The tower’s entryways are receiving a brick surround to match the brick on the retail pavilions under construction on the complex’s plaza.
The dark exterior wasn’t depicted in the project’s most recent renderings and elevations (above).
Apartments and retail space are being constructed in the tower’s annexes. The third and fourth floor of the south annex will be a food court and kitchen, respectively. The food court will serve residents and visitors to the site. 104 apartments are under construction in the remaining upper floors of the annexes.
Douglas Development has yet to announce any retail tenants for the site.
