When it comes to Buffalo and football, there’s not a heck of a lot to be excited about. That’s why we must look back to the glory days, when players such as Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Bruce Smith, and Andre Reed were making things happen. Man, that was a great time to be a football fan in Buffalo, despite the Super Bowl losses.
The players at that time are iconic figureheads that deserve to be further recognized for their collective drive and determination. That’s why New Era is releasing a limited edition number of caps/knit hat designs honoring local football legend and all around Buffalo hero Thurman Thomas.
The caps/hats will be exclusively available at New Era Field this coming Monday (10/29). There will also be a very limited number of caps/hats available online, but New Era is saying that it’s going to a real collector’s item – all of the designs celebrate Thomas and his career accolades.

- New Era Thurman Thomas Red 9FIFTY: Inspired by the Bills’ helmet, features “34” on the front left panel under an embroidered Buffalo Bills Charging Buffalo, blue and white striping down the center and “Thurman” at the rear of the cap above a snapback closure.
- New Era Thurman Thomas Blue 39THIRTY: Features “34” with Thurman Thomas’ silhouette overlaid on the front with the Buffalo Bills Charging Buffalo on the rear.

This collection will be available at the New Era Fan Wagon, the Bills’ stores at the 50-yard line and the east end zone as well as in the Bills Team Store. Limited quantities will be available online.
