Back in December of 2016, Buffalo Rising got a chance to explore the old Buffalo China complex. During the expedition, we discovered that there was still a significant amount of original china remaining, stacked in the halls, and piled up in room after room. Since that time, the owners of the buildings have been hosting a number of tent sales, in order to unload dishes, bowls, mugs, etc.
Now, the final tent sale has been announced, which will take place next weekend – Thursday, October 25 through Saturday, October 27 from 9am to 3pm each day. Visitors to the tent sale will find around 125,000 pieces of Buffalo made dinnerware. All of the items will be selling for either 25 cents or 50 cents (excluding Roaming Buffalo items).
The tent sale will take place at 101 Buffalo China Road. For those who are planning on attending, the facility’s Yoga Pants Vodkas Distillery will be selling bottles of their Busias’s East Side Krupnik and Blonde Bush Vodka. The Buffalo China facility is also home to the Buffalo Curling Club.
This is it folks – the very last Buffalo China tent sale. Stop on over and see if anything suits your fancy, and be sure to check out the other enterprises that are under this historic Buffalo roof.
