The Molice, a band that I have previously written about here and here, will be beginning a residency on select Thursday nights this fall at Misuta Chow’s at 521 Main Street downtown. The Japanese pop-punk trio just played to an enthusiastic crowd on Wednesday night at Mohawk Place. They kicked out jams from their upcoming album “Gate”, which will be released on October 12 on Robby Takac’s Good Charamel Records. If you haven’t been to Misuta Chow’s yet, what are you waiting for!?

This band’s upcoming residency is as good a reason as any to go downtown and check out the Tokyo inspired yakocho dining room, second floor arcade bar and iconic pink “Hello-Kitty” stairwell which has been blowing up the Buffalo area Insta-Twittergram sphere.
Get down to Chow’s for one or all of The Molice’s residency sets and introduce yourself and pick up a t-shirt or a CD. The guys and girl in the band are super nice and friendly, and though they don’t speak much English, they are more than happy to meet their fans. I have developed a friendly relationship with the band and I look forward to seeing them perform every time they play.
