While the Western New York Workforce Training Center is partially open, work continues on the complex at 683 Northland and the streetscape and parking lots around it.
The Workforce Training Center occupies a portion of an industrial building that had sat vacant for 25 years. Buffalo Manufacturing Works will also be moving into the building with additional space available for lease.
The project is being funded by Empire State Development and the New York Power Authority as a major component of the Governor’s “Buffalo Billion” economic development initiative.
Watts Architecture & Engineering designed the project.
