Two of our favorite grassroots businesses are coming together for a fall festival dedicated to all things corny. The Corny Festival will feature grilled Mexican style street corn, pulled pork with roasted corn salsa over bacon corn muffin, cornbucha (corn kombucha), corn ice cream sandwiches, and corn chowder. And yes, there will be a cornhole tournament, a corny joke competition, and a corn costume competition (for people and pets).
When it comes to basing a festival around the delicious taste of corn, the ideas are limitless.
No matter what sort of corn-based fare that you are looking for, chances are that you will find it at the 2018 Corny Festival. The fresh corn will be sourced from Plato Dale Farm in WNY. Now, get your jokes ready, and your napkin tucked around your neck… it’s time to go corn crazy in Buffalo.
