We’re approaching the time of year when it’s indoor festival season. After all, just because the weather will be on the cooler side, there’s no reason to put a halt to festival season. And if it was up to electronic music festival promoter John Darnell, there would be a high charged music festival every weekend, no matter the season. Darnell, who runs AMPLIFY with Kevin Bell (Se2 Silent Disco), is helping to fill a niche in the electronic music scene in Buffalo, which has really taken off recently.
According to Darnell, there’s nothing quite like the upcoming AMPLIFY Electronic Music Festival. This one of a kind event is held throughout three floors of the Dnipro Ukrainian Cultural Center, located at 562 Genesee Street.
So, what can you expect to fill three floors of a beautiful historic building? We’re glad that you asked. Per usual, Darnell is going all out with this one – he’s managed to amass over 50 DJs on seven stages (4 sound stages and 3 silent disco stages), all with full production value.
On top of the hoard of DJs, there will also be live artists, art installations, a market of vendors, a buffing-massage station, and UV face/body-painting, outdoor fire performances, a gong bath, with multiple bars, free water stations, and food vendors.
For electronic music fans, this is one production that you’re not going to want to miss!
