A Medley of Fall Slushees at Snowy Owl Kombucha

A friend of mine, who knows that I love a great slushee drink, recently told me about a new flight of kombucha fall flavors that are being served up by Snowy Owl Kombucha in the Old First Ward.

We started them in summer for a trial, but this is the first special seasonal set we have made,” reports the Snowy Owl owners Anna Bystran and Tara Sasiadek. “They each start with a fall flavor of our in-house fermented booch, then we add ice, organic fruit preserves, and something sweet. For example, Pumpkin Juice is our black tea kombucha mixed with pumpkin butter and maple syrup.”

In the lead image, you can see the following fall flavors, from left to right:

  • Berries and Cream
  • Pumpkin Juice
  • Ginger Orchard
  • Caramel Apple

When asked which of the flavors was outselling the others, the response was, “It’s hard to say, so far, since we haven’t had this slushee lineup for long. But we’ve made a lot of pumpkin juice and caramel apple!”

By the way, if you pay a visit to Snowy Owl, to sample one of these fabulous fall slushee treats, don’t forget to bring Fido along. Apparently pooches are most welcome inside The Barrel Factory and out on the patio as well. And fall is a fine time for our furry friends to enjoy the patio season, because it’s the perfect temperature for them to feel right at home.
