On Saturday, July 15, join University at Buffalo Art Galleries for an art and music extravaganza on the grounds of the UB Anderson Gallery. The event will feature free art workshops by Team Razor Wire and Melissa Lehner, including mask making, paper making, and mural painting. Along with live music by Technical Difficulties and the 12/8 Path Band, there will also be a ballet performance by students at UB’s Department of Theatre and Dance. The Tool Library will be on hand to showcase the work that they do in the community.
This “parking lot party” is being hosted during the Capen Garden Walk (maps will be made available), which means that there will be plenty of tour options, events and activities to look forward to on that day. The Summer Extravaganza will be a hub of activity, with food and drink offered up by The Rolling Cannoli and Undergrounds Coffee. There will also be tours of the gallery, featuring the current showing of Language of Objects.
This is a family friendly event, open to all ages.
