A new festival concept has come to Buffalo. Chris Ring (After Dark Entertainment, Buffalo) is utilizing an online platform called Fanbassador, to book a music line-up for a day-long concert in September. Think of it as a custom built festival, designed for your live listening and viewing pleasure. This particular music festival is being called “Tailor Made”, and will feature Grammy nominated rap superstars Travis Scott and 2 Chainz. The two rappers will be headlining the festival… the rest of the line-up is up to you.
“Tailor Made is a unique festival concept because it gives fans the power in booking the final line up. Fans can create their ideal lineup by voting for their favorite artists from 2 different pools of artists we have secured for the event, with the top vote-getters in each pool being added to the festival, virtually creating a Tailor Made event” says Fanbassador CEO Chris Ring. “By doing so, Fanbassador is appealing to the majority of the fans, creating the most demanded lineup, leading to happy fans and a successful event for everyone involved”.
The top 2 artists chosen per pool over the 10 day voting period will be added to the lineup.
The Tailor Made festival will take place at Canalside on Saturday, September 2, 2017. Fans are able to vote for free, and are given special perks for voting during the allotted voting period.
“Looking at various analytics, charts and touring schedules, we were able to grab artists Buffalo specifically cares about and put them into a pool for fans to choose from” says Ring. “Our vision is to expand this outside of New York and provide fan-curated festivals for all genres in cities across the country!
Fanbassador aims to solve the risks involved when booking shows, festivals or routing tours.
“Fanbassador utilizes true fan demand for booking decisions and the Tailor Made music festival is an extension of that. We are excited to let fans build their ideal festival and are proud to roll our first event out with acts like Travis Scott and 2 Chainz closing the night. We believe by letting fans have a say, we are making more educated decisions and bringing the market exactly what they want at that exact moment.”
Shaant Hacikyan, frontman for Buffalo band Cute Is What We Aim For was the first client of Fanbassador.
The online voting platform allows fans to bring music acts to their cities that might not normally play there. It also allows bands to be wood to cities that care the most about their music. It’s a win-win for bands, and their fans.
Voting for the lineup of “Tailor Made Buffalo” starts now on www.fanbassador.com, and ends July 16.
