Do you have a child that is considered “the brains of the family”? If so, then you’re going to want to pack up the kids in the family roadster and bring them over to check out the WNY Invention Convention, being held on Sunday, June 4.
Nearly 100 local elementary and middle school students will showcase their innovative problem-solving solutions to everyday challenges.
For an example of what sort of inventions you will come across, check out these young Buffalo inventors who came up with an idea for a heated dresser. They were featured on the Harry Connick, Jr Show…
There are a lot of bright young people about these days, as you will see when you come across them at the convention. As we can see, there are plenty of fun and challenging ways for kids to use their brains, especially when they are introduced to all of the events and activities that are underway in Buffalo, including Engineering for Kids Science Camps. These camps are designed to get brainy guys and gals involved with all sorts of scientific and engineering activities.
If you want to learn more about many of the scientific explorations that children can take locally, visit this Facebook page. There, you will find tons of incredible videos featuring inventors from all over the world, and a number from our little neck of the woods.
