To celebrate World Refugee Day in Buffalo, Buffalo-Niagara Deaf Events is hosting the inaugural World Refugee Day Food Truck Rodeo. The event, sponsored by Deaf Access Services and Jewish Family Services, will feature five food trucks, with a portion of sales benefitting Deaf Refugees services (through Deaf Access Services and Jewish Family Services).
The food truck rodeo will be held at the Tri-Main Building on Wednesday, June 21, to recognize all of the refugees who have made their way to Buffalo, as well as those who are still in search of a place to call home.
The following food trucks will take part in the inaugural affair:
Tuk Tea
Gourm-Asian Bistro
Ru’s Pierogi
Chilly Billy’s Ice Cream
Rudy’s Kitchen
Along with plenty of amazing food, there will also be live music, a raffle, face painting, and other performances.
