Video: Starting a Small Business in Buffalo

Mayor Brown has released a video that promotes opening a business in Buffalo. In the video, he features the following three small businesses – Buffalo Adore! (Andrea Kleinfelder – a Queen City Pop Up graduate), Mattie’s Texas Red Hots (Mattie Holt), and La Flor Bakery (Enrique Sexton). Businesses Golden Cup Coffee and Blue Sky Design Supply also make appearances.

In the video, Brown talks about “a variety of the economic development agencies” that are available to help entrepreneurs establish their businesses.

The video ends by offering up a phone number for interested parties to call. If you are looking for help opening a business venture, call 716-851-4769 (GROW). Hopefully you find what you’re looking for.

After calling the number, we would love to hear your story about what your experience was like (good, bad or indifferent). You can send an email to newell@buffalorising.com to share your thoughts.
