Formerly known as MASH Bash, The BASH is Red Cross’s premier fundraiser each year. Held under a giant tent on Delaware Avenue, upwards of 4000 party-goers dress up in military attire, to schmooze, eat and drink, and dance the night away. In previous years, Buffalo entertainer Lance Diamond would whip the crowd into a frenzy. Since his passing, the duty of performing has been handed over to other local favorites. This year The BASH will be headlined by Nerds Gone Wild, a band that has been making its mark on the city at myriad festivals and events.
#partywithapurpose – support our Hometown Heroes at the 19th Annual Red Cross BASH.
According to the Red Cross, last year’s event managed to raise $100,000. That money helped over 600 local families who were adversely affected by fire or disaster, by providing food, clothing and shelter. The BASH has become an instrumental way to raise the necessary funds to carry out this dire mission.
It’s that time of year again. It’s time to gear up and get down on the dance floor.
