Elmwood Village Farmers’ Market | Schedule for Performers, Community Groups, Local Wineries, etc.

These days, live music is brought to us in all forms, at a variety of venues, including farmers’ markets! For years now, the Elmwood Village Farmers’ Market has made sure to include a wide variety of entertainers. The market organizers also make sure to include some of the city’s invaluable community groups, in order to showcase many of the social resources that are available to us.

In 2016, the Elmwood Village Farmers’ Market was listed as one of the top five legendary markets in the country by www.thelisttv.com.

Below you will find the line-up of music acts, as well as the schedule of attending Community Groups that have garnered spots at the market throughout the season.

New vendors in 2017 include Niagara Mushrooms, Rooted Locally (microgreens), Lilly Belle Meads (meads made from their own bees), Heimiller Greenhouses (plants and hanging baskets) and Carla’s Crumby Creations (organic, natural cookies).

If you’re not familiar with the growers and producers at the market, check out this awesome video below…

The market will feature entertainment from approximately 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each week, unless otherwise noted. Following is the 2017 lineup, subject to change due to weather conditions. The market takes place every Saturday from May 13 through November 25 at the corner of Elmwood Avenue and Bidwell Parkway in Buffalo’s historic Elmwood Village.

New in 2017, the market will team up with HEAL Bflo to offer free weekly yoga classes from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturdays. Participants are asked to bring a yoga mat and a bottle of water. Classes will be offered beginning June 3 on the east side of Elmwood Avenue, directly across the street from the weekly market.

Stay tuned to www.elmwoodmarket.org for the final list of market sellers, to be announced soon.

Local artist Kristin Derby is a three-time winner of the market’s annual poster competition.
