Alt pop/rock Buffalo duo BREAKERBOX recently teamed up with the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) to release a music video that is dedicated to military personnel and their families. The duo is comprised of vocalist Christina DeNee’ and drummer Scott Calandra. The song is titled “Miss You”, and is a tribute to those who put their lives on the line, so that we can live in a free society. The heartfelt song is already gaining in popularity with the duo’s fans. They have also received acclaim from a number of media sources throughout the country.
“We had initially written it about the loss of our parents,” said DeNee’, who lost her mother at an early age (Calandra lost his father at an early age as well). “Then a woman who was close to us used the song at the funeral of her son who was a soldier. More and more military families wrote to us about how the song brought them peace. We felt we had something bigger than we had initially realized.”
Fans of the song can purchase it on iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/mis…, as well as at all digital retailers. To follow BREAKERBOX, visit their Facebook page. BREAKERBOX will be hitting the road this spring and summer to promote this song and others.
