What better way to get a message across than bicycle caroling? What, you’ve never caroled while cycling? Hmmm… if that’s the case, then we better get busy rectifying the situation at hand. And the best way to do that is to hop on your bicycle and head over to Campus Wheelworks on Thursday, March 30 at 5:45pm (ride starts at 6pm). That’s where you will meet up with a number of other cycling carolers who all have a message to spread (think Paul Revere). The message will come in the form of protest songs, with the intentions to raise awareness and and funds for Journey’s End – one of the organizations that helps to settle refugees in Buffalo.
Along the cycling journey, cyclists will stop to sing at Burning Books, El Buen Amigo, No Labels Clothing Coop, and Hostel Buffalo-Niagara. The final stop along the way is Electric Avenue, where cyclists will convene to toast to the day’s adventure.
Participants are invited to make a donation to the cause, whether they contribute themselves, or ask others to chip in.
