BRO Gift Guide – Lace & Day’s Undies, Sleepwear, Swimwear and Saxx. Yes. The Perfect Gifts.

If there’s one thing that I can say about Lace & Day, it’s “comfort”. Yes, all of the merchandise is super swank and fashionable, but at the same time, everything is designed to ensure that the person who is wearing the items feels at ease in what he or she is wearing.

(L-R) Emily and Holly

That’s because Lace & Day owners Holly and Emily Constantine are determined to outfit Buffalonians with undergarment lines that look great and feel great. They have traveled to the ends of the earth, searching out product lines that not only make a statement, but also make their customers snug and happy. I’m not just talking about women’s bras and panties, I’m talking about guys’ boxer briefs. If you’re someone who appreciates clothing that fits the body the way that it’s supposed to, then Lace & Day is where you need to be shopping.

The reason that I can confidently say that Holly and Emily are the gift giving experts is that they practice what they preach. They live in the clothing lines that they sell. And their family members do as well. And so do their friends. And just about everyone else who walks into their boutique. “We understand our customers,” they told me. “We pride ourselves on customer service and are determined to find the best fitting bras for our clients. If it fits perfectly, then it will look perfect. If the customer is happy, then it shows. Who wouldn’t want to make a loved one happy during the holidays? Even guys like to shop here because we make it so easy. If a guy has a gal who is already a customer, then we can hook him up with a gift, no problem – we will even have her sizes and preferences on file. If his gal does not shop here yet, then we can pair a gift certificate with something fun, so that she has something to open. After that, we are sure that she will become a loyal customer.”

Aside from carrying beautiful bras and panties, robes and pajamas, Lace & Day now carries lines of very attractive ladies swimwear. For the guys, they carry Saxx boxer briefs. “They are guaranteed to change a guy’s life,” they told me. “These undies come with patented panels that eliminate any chafing. Once a guy tries a pair on, there’s no going back. They look great, and they feel great. Plus, they come in a wide range of colors and designs.”

I love Lace & Day for a number of reasons. First, the place is smashing looking. Second, Holly and Emily are extraordinary at what they do. And third, they make shopping for undergarments easy. And guess what? It’s not normally that easy. This is not cheap stuff that will wear out. It’s honest to goodness quality merchandise. Holly and Emily both quit their day jobs because they believed in the products that much. They felt that if they could share their passion for undergarments with others, then that would make them both happy. They knew that if they could get ladies in through the front door for bra fittings, while providing them with undergarments that work with their bodies, then the world would be a happier place.

This Thursday, Lace & Day is hosting a Champagne Shopping Night from 5pm to 8pm (see Facebook event). Be sure to stop in during the holiday season, and put a smile on someone’s face by simply picking up a thoughtful gift. After all, this is the gift of style and comfort, and who doesn’t want that?

Tip: There is a parking lot in back of the store. It can only be accessed by an alley called Woodbury. The entrance to the alley can be found on Virginia Street, between Franklin and North Pearl. It’s a quaint cobblestone alley that makes it easy to pull right up and shop. Now how’s that for convenient?
