Attention all Santas, elves, reindeer, bumbles and water pistols that shoot jelly. Whether you’re a proud Santa, or a castaway from the Island of the Misfit Toys, everyone is invited to participate in the 2017 SantaCon. SantaCon is the annual bar crawl event that lets everyone dress up as the jolly man in red (or any other holiday character sidekick).
This year’s participating Chippewa bars are VENU, 67 West, Bottoms Up, Tap House, Local, Soho and Darcy’s. That means that there is a clear and direct path laid out for all participating Santas and meandering cohorts.
While this looks like a great time for all involved, there is also a selfless element involved in the undertaking. Last year, participants amassed over 1200 toys for kids during the holidays.
That’s a tremendous impact that everyone can feel good about. 2016 will hopefully be just as jovial!
