On Veteran’s Day, visit this Military Tribute

Muralist Vinny AJ Alejandro is asking that everyone remembers Veteran’s Day this Friday, November 10. On that day, everyone has his or her ritual to recognize those who have served and fought in the US military. From flying the American flag to saying a prayer or standing for a moment in silence, there are myriad ways to recognize the brave and selfless men and women who have served.

BRO covered Alejandro’s mural project as it was underway earlier this year. Now that the mural is finished, it’s the perfect backdrop to express your feelings on Veteran’s Day. Alejandro is asking that people who photograph themselves in front of the mural post it on social media and hashtag it – #amvetsmural.

“I honored all of you (veterans) on this wall and hope that someone makes tomorrow a special day for you,” said Alejandro. “The wall can be found at AMVETS Medallion Post #13 – at Amvets Medallion, 25 Review Place in Buffalo. The wall can be viewed from Tonawanda Street. I’m hoping that some veterans and their families come out to see the wall.”
