The Five Points Business Association is stepping up its marketing efforts by introducing an inaugural “Holiday Intervention” event. On Saturday, December 3, the community is invited to visit the Five Points neighborhood, where shoppers and merrymakers will find all sorts of businesses participating in a joyful celebration.
Five Points is a diverse, walkable and vibrant neighborhood with independently owned retail, restaurants and bistros!
Participating businesses will open their doors from 11am to 4pm, as they feature tastings of wine, coffee, hot chocolate, vegan spice cider, and almond nog. Participating businesses include:
Urban Roots ~ Las Puertas ~ Press Food & Juice ~ paradise wine ~ Pilates Art Studio ~ Rudeboyz Artworks ~ Plume Coffee & Roastery / Remedy House ~ evolation yoga – Western New York ~ Essex St. Pub
If you’re aware of any or all of these businesses, then you know that there will be plenty of things to see and do, including free yoga, live art, face painting, art shows, and kids art. Las Puertas food truck will also be on hand, serving up some delicious warm food.
Celebrate the holiday season with food, music, art, and community in the heart of New Buffalo’s revitalization.
Along the way, visitors can get punch cards stamped by the various participating businesses. Before leaving, the cards can be redeemed at Urban Roots for possible prizes.
This event is the first of its kind for the Five Points neighborhood. The Five Points Holiday Intervention intends to bring the neighborhood together for the holidays. It’s also an event that invites everyone to come celebrate everything that makes this neighborhood so warm and welcoming.
