Fall Back in Love with Buffalo Niagara

Do you have someone on your list that could use some Buffalove? Yes? Is that person that you have in mind missing this city? Do you think that a timely fall greeting card might do the trick? Is this a person who is considering visiting Buffalo? Maybe you know someone who is thinking about moving back home?

Earlier this week I received a sample postcard from a Buffalover who felt that I would be interested in a new Invest Buffalo Niagara marketing campaign.

The notion behind the campaign is simple, fun and effective. Anyone can simply go to and send a friend or a loved one a postcard. Consider it a little reminder that there’s someone back in Buffalo who is awaiting their return. We all have that handful of family members or friends that we miss dearly. Well, here’s a fun way to invite them to come home (for a visit or for good).

Anyone can go to the website, fill out the form, and Invest BN will send it to your friend or family member!

When that person receives the postcard, hinting that maybe it’s time to for a visit, they will also find a website URL that will direct the individual to a handy-dandy guide resource. The online guide features information, factoids, photos, stories, and even videos like this one:

The postcard is a heartfelt reminder that there’s no better time to consider a trip to Buffalo. Moreover, the postcard is a thoughtful way to tell someone that they are missed, and that Buffalo is anticipating a visit… or a return.
