Dino Daze @ Buffalo Museum of Science

If your kid is into dinosaurs, then the Buffalo Museum of Science has got something special for you. Dino Daze is back at the museum, and this year the event has been extended to two days. That means that children will be able to spend more time in the Dino Dig Pit, digging for fossils. Ravage Productions will also be back, with their two friendly, giant costumed dinos named Vinnie and Teddy. The two creations appear to very life-like and are a huge hit with the kids (and the adults).

Other activities include sifting stations, fossil impressions made with Playdough,  molds and models (make your own dinosaur claw), and ‘walk like a dino’ using a dinosaur tail for special effect.

2016 marks the 50th ‘birthday’ celebration for two very special residents at the museum – Albertosaurus and Mastodon. That means that it’s “all about the dinos” right now, which is perfect timing for any dinosaur loving member of the family.

At the event, families may register for the Seymour & Stanley Birthday T-Shirt experience, which includes a special t-shirt to color and keep.

Come meet some dinosaurs that are visiting Buffalo, and walk away with a new appreciation for these magnificent beasts that once roamed the land.

As part of the challenge, guests who bring in a non-perishable food item will receive $1 off admission for up to four (4) guests to Dino Daze. Wegmans will generously donate 1,000 pounds of non-perishable food items to kick off the challenge, getting us part of the way towards our 4,400-pound goal – or as we like think of it, the weight of an Allosaurus! Offer valid on pre-sale tickets at the Museum admissions desk or on either day of the event. Receive $1 off admission per non-perishable item for up to four (4) guests only. This offer is not available for redemption online.

Special thanks to Dino Daze Partners including Ancient Art, Buffalo Geological Society, Buffalo State College, Chase Lobley, Dinosaur BBQ, Messinger Woods Wildlife Care & Education Center, Paleontological Research Institution and Museum of the Earth, Past and Present Rock Shop, Penn Dixie Paleontological and Outdoor Education Center, Ravage Production and Wegmans. Support for Dino Daze is provided in part by University Pediatric Dentistry.
