No matter who you are voting for during the upcoming election, there’s a party in Downtown Buffalo that you must attend. Organizer/musician Matthew Crane is banking that Buffalonians are going to be looking for a release, in one form or another, on election night. “I’m throwing a party on election night to celebrate, well, whatever the hell happens! More so to celebrate the end of this election season,” said Crane. “It certainly promises to be a dynamic evening with everyone that’s involved that evening.”
The electrified band that will be throwing down on that evening is The Buffalo Rage Ensemble. It’s a collaboration between musicians Dan Ross (Guitars/Noise), Aaron Blackmon (Drums), Jim Candytree (Vocals) and Matthew Crane (Bass), who will be bringing about a full set of songs, original to Rage Against the Machine. If you’re a fan of rage, then you know that this is the perfect music/sound to set your emotions free.
To offset the rage, Rear View Ramblers will be taking to the stage, to sing Americana songs about Social Justice and Workers Rights, and any other issues that come to mind.
When the bands aren’t playing till their fingers bleed and/or have ceased crying their eyes out, DJ Drop D will be making sure that the audience stays riled up and emotionally charged.
