Buffalo Transit Riders United Meeting – Help push for Better Services

Do you take the transit bus or the Metro Rail? Do you depend on city transit to get you around town on a daily basis? Do you use it for work?

If you take the bus, then you have probably formulated some opinions about schedules and route access, good bad or indifferent.

Do you believe that the buses stick to their schedules? Are they prompt? Do they accommodate the hours that you need them to? Do they take you to where you need to go in a timely, efficient manner?

What about the Metro Rail? Does it run on a tight schedule? Does it operate as many hours as you would like it to? Are there amenities that you would like to see, that are found in other cities?

On Thursday, October 27, the Coalition for Economic Justice (CEJ) is hosting a Buffalo Transit Riders United Meeting at SEIU1199 Office – 2421 Main Street Buffalo, New York 14214. The idea behind the meeting is to “build power” to “fight for better services”. The meeting runs from 6 PM to 7:30 PM.

See Facebook for details.

1199 SEIU Offices at 2421 Main Street are accessible by NFTA 8 Bus or close to Amherst St. Rail station.

Other times, “Buffalo Rising” is simply offered up as the creator of the article. In either case, the writing is original to Buffalo Rising.
