Bison French Onion Dip Gets the Gold

What is it about Bison® French Onion Dip that causes such a wild frenzy? The dip has become one of Buffalo’s all time food favorites, much the same way that chicken wings and beef on weck have become synonymous with this city. No football game is complete without a canister. There’s usually at least one container found in any true blue Buffalonian’s fridge at any given time.

That’s why we’re not surprised that Bison® French Onion Dip recently snagged the gold at the Great New York State Fair in Syracuse, NY. It just goes to show that the original, reliable recipe that we have been counting on for years, is still the best in the land.

Bison French Onion Dip won 1st place in the Dairy Dips category at a ceremony to kick off the 40th annual Dairy Day.

“For generations, no party, picnic or sporting event has been complete without the presence of Bison French Onion Dip, and we’re excited to see the soaring popularity of one of our newest offerings, Bison Bacon French Onion Dip,” said Mark Serling, Sr. Director of Sales & Marketing. “Bison Dips have had a huge, enthusiastic fanbase for years, and it’s gratifying to see the judges agree with what consumers already know.”

Along with this coveted award for Bison’s best selling and most recognized dip flavor, the company’s newest flavor, Bacon French Onion Dip, came away with an Award of Excellence in the same category. The dips were based on their appearance, texture and taste, by a panel of judges from state government, academia and retail.

This coveted award is just another reason to be proud of our hometown. There’s nothing else like Bison® French Onion Dip. There are those who try to imitate it, but there can be only one!

Bison Foods products are made right here in WNY.
