True Buffalo – A New Buffalo Sports Inspired Clothing Line

true-buffalo-logo-nyYes, the zubaz look is officially making a comeback. From cans of Labatt Blue beer to spandex leggings, the sports-inspired look is coming back strong, whether you like it or not.

A local clothing company called True Buffalo is taking the fashion trend to a whole other level. True Buffalo was founded by Buffalo native Christian Didas, who stays true to his brand and true to his city. Buffalo is a city filled with hometown zealots who serve and protect the city, fighting and defending whenever the need arrises… especially when it comes to sports.

True Buffalo is a fashion line that takes the once defunct looks of the zubaz (color rush) and camo, and spices them up with new colors, graphics and apparel options. These fresh new styles pay homage to the old baggy zubaz and camo pants and shirts, while giving the dated trend a lively new twist. The clothing line was introduced just in time for the NFL season, and is available online and at home games.

The new ‘mafia’ line of sweatpants has been referred to as being sleeker, cute, and even fashionable. There’s even a swank argyle sock in the collection for those looking for something completely different. From tees and tanks to sweats and spandex, all of your old favorites have been recreated just in time for football season.

The clothing and the designs were inspired by the onslaught of generic clothing by the big manufacturers – all the same from city to city for the most part… just substitute colors and a logo. The TrueBuffalo line of clothing was inspired by Buffalo’s fabled Super Bowl showings in the 90s. This city clung on to those hopes and dreams, much the same way it clung on to those faded ragtag zubaz sweats.

Now True Buffalo is bringing the memories back, with clothing that is considered both throwback and current.
