Leave it to Squeaky Wheel to take the election to an entirely different level. Just when you though things couldn’t get any more bizarre, comes this “giant art-brew-dance election party to rock the nation.” Instead of continuing to rip your hair out over the election, Squeaky Wheel wants you to take a moment to relax, reflect, laugh, dance, observe, revel, and repent, all at the hands of some of Buffalo’s zaniest artists and performers.
In order to add even more political pizzazz to the affair, The Third Party will be held at 1100 Niagara Street, inside one of the old Curtiss Malting Building. This is the perfect venue for just such an event. Following is the breakdown of performers that will be entertaining:
Mock electoral candidates (played by Jeremy Bailey, Mickey Harmon & Kevin Thurston, Tilke Hill, Seth Oyer, Jeff Sherven), mock news station covering candidates (SWN Network by Shasti O’Leary Soudant and Emil Goranov), mock news crew covering OTHER news crew (Ruth Goldman and Lizzie Finnegan), performances by DJ Ephraim Asili, C.U.N.T.S, Cat McCarthy and Fifi Laflea of The Stripteasers Buffalo, Buffalo Aerial Dance, Space Junk, Basha, and a goat (yes a goat.)
