If there was ever a time to think about rebuilding Frank Lloyd Wright’s Larkin Administration Building, it’s now. There are purists out there who feel that the duplicate would never measure up to the original. While that might be true (in spirit), there’s something to be said for resurrecting such a magnificent architectural marvel. And if there’s an organized front that wants to lead the way, then why not?
So why rebuild now, after all of this time? Because there is a new initiative underway, led by a group that wants to rebuild lost FLW structures. The Frank Lloyd Wright Revival Initiative states that the administration building might not be one of the initial priorities, however the building is on a list of the group’s dream projects, which is encouraging.
