Black Squirrel Distillery is planning a release on its newest spirit – Maple Liqueur. Like all of the rest of their products, the distillery uses a maple products from NY State, which is what makes the company and its releases so unique. After releasing its Ardilla Negra Maple Coffee Liqueur, Black Squirrel want back to the drawing board to come up with a product that they say is, “…again unique, and like nothing else on the market. We import an aged Caribbean rum and blend it with Grade A dark amber maple syrup to create a rich, and subtly sweet, 60proof Maple Liqueur.”
Black Squirrel is a NY State craft distillery headquartered on the site of a prohibition speakeasy in Buffalo, New York.
The distillery is hosting a tasting on Saturday, September 10, from 12pm to 5pm at their headquarters on Elmwood Avenue. The public is welcome to stop by for a taste of this unusual and completely Buffalo spirit. All of the other spirits will also be available to sample and purchase.
