Bisonfest: Oktoberfest at Flying Bison

Now that the summer festival season is coming to an end… we need to start thinking about the fall festival season! Living in Buffalo, one must plan everything around the festival seasons. At any given time, we must choose between myriad festivals that keep coming… and coming. Here comes another one right now! It’s the annual Bisonfest: Oktoberfest at Flying Bison.

This is a wonderful festival for a number of reasons. First of all, there’s traditional oom-pah music by The Frankfurters. Next, the beer is all brewed right at the festival grounds. Then there’s the food – this year the authentic German food will be prepared by The Grill at The Dome.

$25 gets you a plate full of German food, three hours of music, a new Bisonfest souvenir mug, and three drink tickets to fill it with.

Revelers can look forward to raising a stein of beer in the air, while listening to favorite beer hall songs, and eating their fill of sausages, german potatoes, and sauerkraut. For an appetizer, or dessert, or dinner of that matter, Mazurek’s Bakery will be providing the rye bread and soft brewery pretzels!

Presale tickets can be purchased at the brewery. A presale ticket gets you an extra drink ticket.
