Brewing is not just for the guys. With the advent of craft beer culture, everyone has jumped onboard with the microbrew trend, as we have readily seen with the success of the Buffalo Beer Goddesses. Now a whole new tribe of girls is venturing into the world of brewing.
The 100% FemALE staff of Rusty Nickel Brewing Co. has set the stage to tear down industry stereotypes, break through boundaries, educate consumers, and contribute to women’s charity by crafting a rousing all FemALE brew series.
The FemALE Brew Series has already begun. The first beer called Estrogen Ale (an Albino Stout), has been brewed, and is in the process of being aptly marketed for an Estrogen Ale Release Party that will take place on Thursday, September 29 (during Buffalo Beer Week).
The beer will also be celebrated at the brewery’s Harvest Fest on October 1st and 2nd, 2016. From there, the women of Rusty Nickel will be brewing five more beers a part of a ‘six pack’ of regional flavors.
The names in the FemALE brew series are intended to encourage conversation, evoke questions, be edgy, powerful, inspirational and demand attention.
“We are proud to announce WNY’s first all FemALE designed, brewed, marketed and sold beer – 20% of all proceeds will be donated to the Breast Resource Center at Roswell Cancer Institute.” – RNBC
