For those of you who are now accustomed to attending the Hoppy Hour events at the Marcy Casino, get ready to switch things up for a day. Tomorrow evening (Thursday, August 11, 2016), the Hoppy Hour gang is heading to the Inner Harbor for a pop-up party. Bill Miller and friends will be taking over the USS Little Rock, for a charity event that will raise money for the Buffalo & Erie County Naval & Military Park. All of the usual suspects will be there, enjoying food, drinks and music, just as they have all summer long, except this time there’s an entirely different backdrop.
It’s not every day that you get to party on a gigantic guided missile cruiser. Plus, as a special bonus, the band Lowest of the Low will be playing at Thursday at the Harbor. That means, for a $5 donation to get on the ship, you get to listen to the band play at Canalside. Not a bad deal! There will also be free food at the Pop-Up Hoppy Hour, and Resurgence is the feature brewery this week.
