I was recently talking to someone who just moved to Buffalo. He told me that one of the things that he was impressed with was the amount of free and low cost art activities that were available to people. One of the events that he mentioned was First Fridays at the Albright-Knox. He said that he had attended a couple of First Fridays, because it was a great way to become familiar with the gallery and there were a lot of activities available to him.
First Fridays are indeed a great way to get to know the Albright-Knox – one of the greatest art galleries in the world. Between the free activities and the inexpensive art classes, the monthly occurrence should be considered one of the most important ongoing event series in the city of Buffalo.
