Back by popular demand, Jaunt Quest is returning to the Queen City on the Lake. Jaunt Quest is a fun bike ride/scavenger hunt that takes riders all over the city in search of… lots of stuff other than Pokémon characters. This real life scavenger challenge is considered to be “mentally challenging, and maybe messy check points.”
The object is to track down ten objects, over the course of 25 miles. Riders can accomplish the task solo, or in a pack. Just remember that a teammate could help, or could hinder. Last year, the time of the quest ranged from one to three hours for riders. The fastest participants were rewarded prizes, which means that speed is important. At the same time, race organizers have created multiple prize-winning categories, making Jaunt Quest fun for everyone, no matter how fast they go.
All cyclist are welcome, no matter what type of bicycle you ride or what your typical riding style or speed is.
“We are planning a really good ride this year,” said Matt Dunning. “The event should be both challenging and fun and will take riders all over the city.”
For safety and ultimate fun:
- Please consider wearing a helmet
- Definitely bring water
