On Sunday, September 4, Deep South Taco will be sending off summer with a big bang by throwing Buffalo’s Biggest Beach Party. I bet you’re wondering how they are going to pull that off, since the restaurant is landlocked? In order to make it legit, Deep South is bringing in a truckload full of sand, in order to cover a parking lot, thus creating a Downtown Beach And that’s just the start. Did we mention a mechanical shark that partygoers can ride?
“We decided we wanted to bring the beach and fun to downtown,” says Deep South Taco owner Richard Hamilton. “We are trucking in 5 loads of sand, several kiddy pools, other water toys, 4 bands 2 djs and other treats to really make downtown feel like a beach.”
The Beach Party is being thrown as a way for the taqueria to thank customers for a successful summer season. From jam packed rooftop DJ sessions featuring DJ Cove (on the rooftop cabana) to a sun-filled lower patio that was non-stop energy, Deep South has quickly become a summer staple of the city. Now, as we head into fall, there is one last Deep South summer blast to attend.
“Simulated Beach” will include:
– Sand filled parking lot
