“WNY Heals Together Memorial was held in Downtown Buffalo, NY in Niagara Square on July 12.
This memorial was held in memory and honor of victims from #BatonRouge, #StPaul and #Dallas. No speeches or protests were held. Politicians, pastors, police officers, members of #Peacemakers, and Buffalo citizens of all race, sex, nationalities, and colors joined together to show our support for these tragedies. Pastor Pridgen requested that everyone stop and talk to someone you don’t know and talk about “Why you are here today”.
People were smiling, hugging, and even sharing tears. It was a very beautiful event and proves that Buffalo is the “City of Good Neighbors”.
