Your Chance to Interact with a Pop-Up Park

12794706_10207313355367163_2136400688419358380_oMore Buffalo Pop-Up Parks are on their way. After another successful East Side installation, the Pop-Up Park crew is getting ready to team up with more organizations in more neighborhoods, to show off the tremendous benefits that come along with these grassroots endeavors.

Pop-Up-Park-Buffalo-Grass“Pop Up Park Buffalo’s unique concept in play experience is unlike anything available to the children of Buffalo or the surrounding suburban neighborhoods,” said Pop-Up team member Crystal Surdyk. “This open ended and creative play experience empowers kids to be inventors, engineers and architects for the day. As a community that wishes to keep our young people in Buffalo, we need to provide them with enriching and empowering experiences, and showing them the beauty and power of math and science THROUGH play is an amazing way to help them see their potential. ”

All of the materials are provided to the kids – materials, tools, etc. All you have to do is get the children to the right place at the right time, so that they can experience an empowering and rewarding day of DIY activities.

Check out the following Pop-Up Park schedule, and be sure to attend one of these very special engagements. The upcoming event at West Delavan and Grant includes dinner. Be sure to visit www.PopUpParkBuffalo.com for more information. Or stay tuned for details on Facebook.
