Video: A Splash of Color by Full Circle Studios

Reading Time: 2 minutes

For those of you who have been following the electrifying mural being painted at 710 Main Street, then you will be happy to know that Full Circle Studios has just released a video documenting the project.

“As the tenants of the 710 Main Theatre (soon to be Shea’s 710 Theatre) we at Full Circle Studios are heavily invested in our community, by being a sponsor of Curtain Up!, working with the NFTA/Metro on ridership, and, since it was our wall being painted, we felt we should get involved with the mural project.”

Obviously, this mural is a big deal for Buffalo (learn more), thanks to the public art efforts of the Albright-Knox. The vibrant colors make the building pop. The mural is on the travel route for hundreds of people who pass by on their way to the Kensington Expressway each day. This is about as high profile as it gets. This city should be proud to have such an eye-catching Splash of Color in its midst.

Listen to what prolific muralists Jessie and Katey have to say about the largest wall that they have accomplished to date. They talk about what it is they are trying to portray to passersby. Find out what influences them, and what it’s like to see the colors change with the time of day. The girls appear to have had a lot of fun with this project, which certainly shows in the end result.
