Construction of a new medical facility has been proposed for 505 7th Street. Neighbors living around the site were sent notices of a public hearing, which will be held at Erie County Public Library on Porter Avenue – Tuesday, June 14 from 6pm to 7:30pm. The notice reveals that Gbuahn LLC will be building a $5 million 36,000 square foot, state of the art medical facility. Job creation is anticipated to be between 80 to 100 new positions. The facility is also anticipated to generate $11 million annually.

The site in question is located near the future Community Beer Works main brewing facility. It is also across the street from the planned Olmsted Apartments. The front entrance of the building will be situated off Niagara Street where Gbuahn already has an office. Gbuahn has additional offices throughout the city.
The Gbuahn LLC website lists a number of medical services including dermatology, DEXA Scanning, electrocardiograms and holter monitoring, general adult medicine, geriatric care, laboratory services, minor surgery, pulmonary function testing, urgent care, walk-in services, women’s healthcare and additional services coming soon.
The facility is scheduled for completion in 2017.
