There’s a new way to get fit in Buffalo… and it’s free! Independent Health and YMCA Buffalo Niagara have teamed up to bring Fitness in the Parks, a program that helps people to establish fitness goals, while helping them to achieve those goals. The hour-long fitness classes, held at parks throughout the region, are taught by YMCA certified instructors.
Classes in the city of Buffalo are being held at Bidwell Parkway, Buffalo Medical Campus, Buffalo RiverWorks, Delaware Park and Larkin Square. Each one of the locations offers a different fitness regimen, including yoga, cardio kickboxing and boot camp.
The classes are being held from June 19 to August 27 at the same time and place each week. Check below for the schedule and the correlating location.
