Ellicott Development is finishing up work at 301 Ohio Street, a new five-story building along the Buffalo River. Leasing is underway for the 21 apartments on the upper three floors. There is a single one-bedroom floorplan offered with 868 sq.ft. of living space and the three two-bedroom plans range in size from 1,265 to 1,405 sq.ft.
There is 10,000 sq.ft. of commercial space on the second floor plus ground-floor space for two restaurants. One restaurant, “Beach Club”, was approved by the Common Council two weeks ago. Building amenities include boat slips, a recreational area and a sand volleyball court.
CJS Architects designed the project and Picone Construction Corp. served as general contractor.
301 Ohio is the first of what could be several buildings Ellicott Development constructs along the river. It sits at the north end of a 7.26 acre parcel the company owns that stretches over 1,200 feet across from Buffalo RiverWorks and south of River Fest Park.
