Coming up this Sunday, June 12, Hydraulic Hearth is kicking off the Gospel Brunch season. The affair will showcase some of this city’s best culinary and entertainment offerings. Come soak up the sun in the beer garden, while being attended to by guest rock star chef and Black Sheep owner Steve Gedra.
This is the first of three Beer Garden Gospel Brunch installments. Each installment will offer food by The Black Sheep and drinks by Hydraulic Hearth. There are two seatings per engagement – one at 12pm and the other at 2pm.
“Gospel brunch was one of my favorite things to do when I lived in Austin – a laid-back scene with great food and uplifting music,” said organizer and promoter Seamus Gallivan. “With this event we capture that vibe Buffalo-style, including support of our neighborhood food pantry.”

“Regardless of one’s religious beliefs, it’s easy to enjoy a summer Sunday in our beer garden with great local food and gospel music,” said Hydraulic Hearth proprietor Harry Zemsky. “All are welcome.”
The musical line-up for the three-part series is:
- June 12th – Toney Rhodes
- July 17th – Miller & the Other Sinners
- August 21st – Vin DeRosa & Vitamin D
