Garden art comes in all forms. From a fancy spinning copper sprinkler to colorful stone walkways, the ideas are limitless, which makes each garden different. One homeowner in North Buffalo has taken the role of garden art to another level. The artist has installed a wonderful art installation at the corner of Linden and Morris for all to see. I am told that this eye-catcher was just put up yesterday. I was fortunate to pass by the creation earlier this morning.
The garden of Love is green without limit and yields many fruits other than sorrow or joy. Love is beyond either condition: without spring, without autumn, it is always fresh. – Rumi
Not only does the glass mosaic gleam and glitter in the sun, it’s also backlit with a solar powered light source. That means that when the sun goes down, the work of art will glow at night. I can’t imagine the amount of work that went into this visual treat. Then again, after scoping out the installation, I took a gander at the home where the work of art emanated from. It’s clear that the artist has a taste and a talent for this sort of thing. The house is as interesting as the work of art that acts as a sublime calling card. If you look close, you can see that the homeowner has fashioned a couple of other similar works onto the house, yet not as detailed and complicated as what we see on the corner.
