A pop-up espresso bar is making the rounds in Buffalo. Creator Andrew Trautman decided that it was time to take his love of the caffeinated drink on the road, after spending time as a coffee slinger in a local café. The experience got Trautman to thinking about what it would be like to take his coffee gig from a brick and mortar setting to something more nimble. The result is called Remedy House.
Remedy House made its first appearance at the last First Friday Gallery Walk in Allentown. The initial foray into the world of mobile food and drink offerings was fruitful. Now Trautman is looking to expand upon his location choices and is formulating a plan to hit up numerous festivals and markets throughout the area. “Remedy House is a fully functioning cart that is capable of serving espresso and espresso based drinks,” said Trautman. “The goal with this business is to create small impromptu café settings throughout Buffalo.”
This summer, look for Remedy House to be pulling up, and setting up, at events and other informal settings around Buffalo. You can follow some of the Remedy House sightings by clicking on The Picta, or you can follow Trautman’s espresso pursuits on Facebook.
