Come later this summer, Downtown Niagara Falls will have a new place to grab a fresh roasted cup of coffee and gourmet sandwich. Owner’s Michael Lewis,Joseph Hotchkiss, and Kyle Bajor are working tirelessly to transform 444 3rd Street into a neighborhood cultural destination featuring locally sourced ingredients called the Power City Eatery. Built in 1980, the 3,800 square foot building is undergoing significant renovations to improve the street presence and appeal of the building through installing new storefront windows and creating an outdoor patio flanking the restaurant along Third Street. Previously the offices of NYS Division of Parole, the building will now become an inviting place where cultures mingle, and patrons experience the magnificent flavors and sounds of the Niagara’s best. Power City Eatery will add to the growing entertainment district that already includes Wine on Third, 24 Below Café & Gallery, Zaika Fine Indian Cuisine, Tap Room, and soon to open Nashville North BBQ & Steakhouse.
