Larkinville Challenge 2016

Five race Thursdays are coming back in May/June. These action packed criterium bike races, sponsored by the Buffalo Bicycle Club, are fun for the entire family to attend. This race has grown tremendously in Buffalo over the years. Ever since it wound up in Larkinville, the Thursday events are more exciting than ever. There are now three events each week to look forward to, starting Next week, May 19.

“We have expanded our women’s field and are expecting top racers from all over the north-east,” said race organizer Frank Grillo.” What most people from outside Buffalo say is that Larkin is a great venue and the racing is fast and fun. We are getting a reputation, and pulling more and more top level racers each year. I expect 2016 to be no different.”

Registration for racers is being held at BikeReg.com.

The five race schedule is May 19, 26, June 2, 9, 16.

Race events start at 6:10pm. Feature race kicks off at 7:30pm.

There’s a Men’s A, a Men’s B, and Women’s Race each week. Kids’ Challenges will be held on June 2 and June 9.

Come hang out at Larkin Square and watch the races from an incredible vantage point. There will be food and drinks available.
