Comedy fans are in for a special treat on Saturday, May 28, as Rochester’s cosplay funny girl, Becca Barnum, comes together with Matthew Chavez and friends (American Repertory Theater, Theater Jugend), Green Schwinn, and Malcolm Whitfield. Between the four, the raw talent is mighty impressive, and is expecting to appeal to both comedy and theater fans, with a combination of skits, sketches, and stand-up, intermixed with a dose of music mayhem.
‘Droll’ is a new monthly feature, part of Milkie’s Comedy Open Mic – an open mic that is now celebrating two-years in the business. This is the fourth installment of Droll, a comedic adventure that is already drawing plenty of attention from the who’s who of the Buffalo comedy and theater scene.
The monthly comedic episode takes place in an open and welcoming environment, perfectly suited for collaboration and experimentation. Guests at Droll can expect “An Evening of Comedic Entertainment, where the four comedians will perform a story, sketch, or character monologue around the theme, ALLIANCE! ACTION! ADVENTURE!… with a nerdy slant.”
