Ellicott Development’s Elmwood Village Properties LLC has picked up another property near the W. Delavan/Elmwood Avenue intersection. A 2,984 sq.ft., two-story residence at 901 Elmwood Avenue was purchased yesterday for $347,000. It is adjacent to Ellicott’s 905 Elmwood mixed-use project that is currently under construction. M&T Bank is financing the new building.
The four-story 905 Elmwood project will house a restaurant, commercial retail space, and 21 residential units. The restaurant, created by Local Boys Restaurant group, will be similar to Rocco’s Wood Fired Pizza, a restaurant by one of the members of the Local Boys group. Apartments will range in size from 900 to 1,900 sq.ft.
Ellicott has spent a considerable amount of money assembling the development site. It paid $940,000 for the former Elmwood-Delavan Food Mart and gas station; $130,000 each for properties at 617 and 621 W. Delavan; and $290,000 for 619 W. Delavan.
Ellicott’s plans for the newest purchase are unknown.
