DIYBFLO presents: Arts Materials Exchange

If you’re an artist, then you know how quickly you tend to accumulate art materials. Some of these materials you may have acquired for a ‘one off’ art project, and then never used again. These items might be sitting around the studio, under the bed, in the closet… taking up precious space.

Thankfully, Sugar City understands the need for artists to unload their once valued art tools and materials. That’s why they have come up with an Arts Materials Exchange event. Artists are invited to bring their once prized art possessions to exchange for supplies that others have deemed no longer useful for their current artistic pursuits.

This is a great way to save some money, find items that might not currently be available for sale, pick up some accessories that one might not normally purchase, while reusing and recycling goods that might otherwise never see the light of day again.

Sometimes the authors at Buffalo Rising work on collaborative efforts in order to cover various events and stories. These posts can not be attributed to one single author, as it is a combined effort. Often times a formation of a post gets started by one writer and passed along to one or more writers before completion. At times there are author attributions at the end of one of these posts. Other times, “Buffalo Rising” is simply offered up as the creator of the article. In either case, the writing is original to Buffalo Rising.
